For any private event you can dream of, Hillstone has the perfect setting. Each room we have available is designed to be flexible, creating a personal and memorable experience. They are also beautifully built and welcome in the gorgeous surroundings through their open spaces and large windows.

We host various private functions throughout the week, from birthday parties, luncheons and dinners, to celebration of life events. With plenty of event packages on offer, these events are simple to organise and can fit various budgets.

From incredible décor to impressive audio visual equipment, the inclusions of our rooms are endless. Our catering team also offer a variety of dining options, including main meals, desserts, canapés and grazing platters.

Everyone celebrates a new year differently, so we make sure we offer a vast range of options. We can organise anything from a small, fully-catered dinner to a grand party with a dance floor and DJ blasting your favourite tunes.

Luncheons & dinners.

For an event based around an exquisite meal, Hillstone luncheon and dinner packages provide the perfect experience. With professional chefs, an enthralling menu and dedicated staff, every detail is looked after.

Our traditional rooms are warm with character and reside in an inviting location with views of the golf course. After they’re booked, they can be arranged to suit anything from grand luncheons to intricately decorated dinners.

When a loved one passes, it can be tough to know and plan what comes next. Whether you decide to have a funeral, memorial service or wake at Hillstone, our promise is to make the day seamless and stress-free.

We can coordinate with funeral directors on your behalf for services to fit your needs and budget. For everything else, we can cater to your wishes and every detail of your personal traditions.

The rooms available each provide a gentle space to hold the warmth from friends and family. They also feature verandas and break-out areas that are lovely spaces for personal reflection or mixing with family and friends.

Our Hearty History


From its genesis, the Hillstone property was raised with the ingenuity and passion of travellers. Since Englishman William Dart built the original Hillstone house for his family near his farmlands in the 1880s, a foundation of quality and charm began to reside here.

Nowadays, the innovative Swedish duo Jens Holland and Hans Pettersson are running Hillstone. Working tirelessly over the past few decades, they have brought Hillstone, hundred acre bar and St Lucia Golf Links into one branded family and continue to provide exemplary service.

Not many venues in Brisbane live and breathe in exquisite greenery, but Hillstone does. The scenery of the golf course flows effortlessly into Hillstone’s natural colours and the inviting architecture of our buildings, creating a harmonious environment. Here, the only gate-crashers to your private event will be natural light and a refreshing breeze.

Operating for over 35 years, Hundred Acre serves up to 1,000 guests every week – earning many local friends along the way. With five venues emanating their own personality, we know you’ll find the perfect space to have your private function.

At Hundred Acre, you’ll experience delightful modern dining with worldwide flavours coming together into one loved menu. Our wine and beer selection is also just as diverse. With international and locally sourced collections, you can try a thousand tastes from around the world.
