It is more than what we eat and drink, it is part of our culture.  hundred acre bar is about an honest connection with our food, our surroundings, ourselves and the company we choose to share it with. It has a distinctive atmosphere and unrivalled décor, with over 360 plants decorating the place (a true revolution). And then there’s the open view – more than 100 acres of manicured greens that exhale amazing breezes up the hill.

If you’ve already visited hundred acre bar, you’ll have experienced the unique and cherished aspects of this beautiful restaurant. The building is multi-level with five charming floors that are equally as warm and welcoming. As you work your way up from the first floor up to the Rooftop Terrace, you’ll experience the spirit of the place that has come from generations of visitors that have celebrated here.

Above all else, hundred acre bar is a celebration of culture. The dining experience (wet weather plan covered) features an exciting selection of meals made from the freshest ingredients. Served by our friendly team, the only thing guests need to focus on is who they invite to dinner.

Children love running around outdoors, book clubs congregate monthly in the Living Room, family and friends dine over long lunches, and golfers nest after their course outing. The doors are always welcoming walk-ins, locals, and of course our golfing community. There truly is something for everyone.

Meet the Chef

Chef Joey Dela Victoria has spent more than two decades honing his gastronomical skills and his inspiration is a true melting plot.

Everything he has learned, seen, tasted, and touched during his travels around the world make it into his recipes. After training in a hotel at 16 years of age, curiosity lead Chef Joey exploring.

He spent several years forging his experience in steamy, bustling kitchens around the world. His wanderlust took him to London, New York, Dubai then Australia. During this time, he discovered new flavours, products, and techniques. He also incorporates what he has learned from working alongside several renowned chefs – Peter Gilmore, Gordan Ramsay, Tristian Farmer, Jason Atherton and Daniel Boulud.

Chef Joey believes cooking is all about working closely with artisans and the local producers behind Queensland’s quality local products. He is a great follower of flavour appreciation and restraint and swears by quality, simplicity, and verity – values that are ever present in his cooking.

Now Chef Joey is taking charge of the hundred acre bar and is ready to impose his own style by refocusing the menus towards true heroes – local fresh produce. We look forward to being part of his culinary story at the hundred acre bar!
