Our Directors Jen and Hans have brought their fresh and innovative approach to service from Sweden to Hillstone. They continue to provide flexible options for customers, ensuring you get what you want – from the time you first visit the premise and enjoy a one-on-one consultation with our coordinators, through to the final preparations.

We offer a complete wedding service with first-class features. These include:

• Optional wedding golf cart photoshoot with over 100 acres of lush scenery
• Wedding retreat accompanying The Grandview Room (to calm those pre-wedding nerves).

The Fountain is one of Hillstone’s most iconic ceremony spaces. With 180-degree views of the parklands and golf course that engulf the area, you’ll have a long list of beautiful backdrops for your wedding photos. Surrounded by manicured hedges, The Fountain is encased by an open gazebo wrapped in jasmine and bromeliads. It features exquisite foliage and also rests on the top of a hill, enjoying a beautiful breeze at all times of the day.

This gives the venue a European elegance that is as alive as the nature around it. The Mango Tree terrace also overlooks the space, giving couples the flexibility to have up to 200 guests at their ceremony.

Built after the Second World War in honour of those who lost their lives, The Fountain is a special place bringing immense joy to the lives of Australians. It has evolved into the most exquisite ceremony location for weddings in Brisbane.

Any wedding couple that books The Grandview Room for their reception receives exclusive access to The Fountain for their ceremony. Otherwise, The Fountain is available on a case-by-case basis.

When you first see the Courtyard Garden, you’ll surely notice it’s been designed specifically for weddings. With a wooden gazebo and tall, green hedges framing the area, the space is uniquely beautiful. Its whole layout offers you a warm, intimate ceremony location that will bring photographs to life.

The inspiration came from an old pavilion in Sweden that was dedicated to weddings, which is where its rustic European elegance comes from. We’ve also made sure it’s a place your guests will enjoy, with comfortable lounge seating, alfresco surroundings and a sweeping view of the golf course.

Maximum of 100 guests (combined seating and standing).

Availability

The Courtyard Garden is packaged with The Rosewood Room and The Library Bar.

Facilities and features:

The space is very appealing with its versatility, as the ceremony space can transform into a reception venue comfortably seating up to 32 guests. Later in the evening, guests can move to The Library Bar for personalised bar service, dancing, port and sweets to finish the perfect day.

With a French country garden feel and gorgeous setting, this intimate and romantic space is one to fall in love with. Its top features include:

• Sign-in table
• Rustic timber chairs
• Basket of rose petal cones
• Wooden furnishings
• Natural surroundings with hedging and lush foliage
• Private restrooms and bar (there are no shared facilities)
• Wheelchair access.

The whole venue has been designed and styled by a duo team of decorators with Australian and Italian heritage. With their combined 30 years of experience, they work onsite to maintain the highest standard of décor.
